Inquiry Hats

We made hats out of paper mache. We were looking at how the paper began soft and flimsy and became solid as we added layers.

Measuring Using Standard Units

I found measuring easy because we just have to use blocks to measure the line and then the ruler to see how many cm they were.

Onomatopoeia

WALT identify onomatopoeia and use it in our writing

I found onomatopoeia easy because you can just sound out noises. I want to work on trying to think of more onomatopoeia words in my writing.

Geometry- shapes

I found it tricky because you had to look at the pictures carefully and see the faces, edges, corners and plane shapes. I want to work on working together with my partner (Matthew S) because we were messing around. I liked moving the shapes around because it was fun.

Summarising Information

I found summarising easy because you just have to read the story and tell the facts about it. I want to work on trying to summarise big stories like chapter books.
