Newspaper cat

We have been learning  how to draw a cat.  After we had sketched one in our sketch books, we cut each part of the cat out of newspaper and glued it onto the blue background.

My Kid pix story

I am learning to use the Kid pix programme to publish my story.  I am learning to write more than one sentence.

Five plus a number

I am learning to add a number to 5.  I can work this out by counting on from 5.

My Phonics

I am learning to listen, robot and write the first, middle and end sounds in words.  I can use this at reading time and story writing to help me write new words.

I am learning to identify the root word and I can add letters to change a word.

Writing my numbers

In Room 3 we are learning to write our numbers independently. If I need help I can look up on the wall or get a number line.

Writing by Myself

In Room 3 I am learning to write all by myself.  We have special things to help us.   Our yellow card helps us to find the letters we want to write.   Our word wall helps us to write words.  Reading our stories helps us to write better too.
